The magic art of acting fast and how to manage taking the risk but controlling the results

What acting fast means, is to produce a quick action to achieve a certain result, but... When something is "not doing" the way we like it or simply seems is not right, can we identify what's wrong? And... Do we take action?

"Don't wait for the ideal circumstances to arrive, and the best timing to act, because they may never come". Anonimous.

If you act quickly, you will certainly get to a point. Which one though, is important that you control. In sports, or your health, or in any other matter of your life, the following great tips can be used to manage the art of deciding at a faster pace, and controlling what you like to achieve, let's get to it.

IS THERE AN APPROPRIATE TIMING? HOW TO KNOW IT?

Make a stop here, think about the former question. What would be your answer?

I do think there is an appropriate timing for everything in life. Imagine you're riding a mountain bike downhill, since you start the ride, obstacles are presented to you and you need to act fast enough to avoid falling down or loosing the equilibrium. What things in your life need that you act quickly?

Imagine you're having symptoms of an illness. You've become more tired than the usual, your left arm is numb, your vision is not clear, you've got headache flashes and intense weakness. Did you know this could be signs of a heart stroke? Wouldn't it be needed to act as fast as possible? By the way, I'll talk about F.A.S.T Test further in the article to manage this.

Well, now that you know that you have to be alert, let's study some pros and cons of taking a quick move.

Acting fast in a race

ADVANTAGES AND DISADVANTAGES OF QUICKLY ACTING

If I were asked to point some advantages, I would say that the highest benefit of acting faster is: Exercising yourself physically and mentally against anything, giving an incentive to concentration and control.

Some other benefits are:

• You exercise yourself on decision making.

• You take advantage of a motivation.

• You get to results faster than expected.

Of course there may be some disadvantages too, but hopefully after reading this article you'll be more ready to handle them.

• Sometimes acting fast does not allow to measure the risks promptly.

• There is less control over the results, unless you learn how to find it.

Then, is there a way to get more advantages of acting faster? I guess there is, keep on reading.

REQUIREMENTS TO ACT FAST.

There's nothing better than exercising decision making and learning how to do it, and just as in every aspect of your life, you'll need to learn how to decide correctly and you will need to practice to produce the action faster, getting to the results you wanted, but keeping in mind that you'll need the appropriate tools and to apply your common sense as well.

For acting fast you'll need:

1) A motivation.

You need an objective, a desire, an illusion, a sense or urgency for anything. This will drive the act of deciding.

2) Flexibility and possitive attitude towards change.

Anything is possible, things conform to the environment and circumstances, and you'll need to be prepared for any possible outcome.

3) Ability for observation and evaluation.

If you become more alert to observe and obtain information quicker, analyze it and evaluate it, there are higher possibilities of reaching appropriate decisions.

4) Stay cool no matter what.

When we need to take action very quickly, sometimes our nerves can mess up the results. If you stay cool and calm, your mind is clearer for thinking and more able for evaluating the risks. It will help to avoid complications, or be ready for recovery what in the end will ensure your final success.

Remember I mentioned the F.A.S.T Test for attending when observating symptoms of heart stroke? Well, let's learn a little, it will be very useful for anyone:

F Stands for FACE. Ask the person to smile, and if the face looks like deformed, it will be a sign that something is wrong.

A Stands for ARMS. Ask the person to raise both arms. If they can't be rised at the same time, take note of another sign of stroke.

S is for SPEECH. Ask a "trouble tongue phrase" and if the person is not able to articulate words as always, add another oh oh! to the list.

T is for TIME. You must have taken notes when the symptoms first appeared because as time goes by, danger rises. Then, you must be acting fast and call for help.

Final result

Just as I said before, your life is like riding a mountain bike downhill. Be aware that by learning the art of acting promptly will produce for you satisfactions as:

• Learning abilities to avoid obstacles.

• It will help you learn how to stay cool and maintain control.

• It helps to keep an equilibrium in your life.

• It helps to control the nervousness to different circumstances.

• And in the end it prepares you to whatever happens so, that you exercise acceptance as well.
