Hypertension is a critical condition for cardiovascular health, though many people don't even know they have it. That's why it has been called: "the silent killer". On this page you'll find some recent news about it.
High blood pressure me?, Should I check? Let's see: Are you used to taking your measurement with regularity? You may not know, but pressure numbers above 120/80 or higher, but below 140/90, are an alert sign. Then, is it good to know about your own condition?

Another study published in november 2011 at the same journal documented that starting to smoke in adolescence and continuing to do so up to young adulthood, is adversely associated with aortic stiffness. If the aorta is the widest vessel carrying oxygen, imagine the problem!
